One of the challenges of sewing for dolls is the smallness and getting a nice drape. Particularly if you’re using scraps or quilting cotton as opposed to garment weight fabrics as I am and guess most people are.
Finger pressing helps. The crease is soft and fades away towards the hem into the fullness of the dress.
