fortuny creatures

I spent much of the last two weeks working on a large order for Fortuny Venice.  It was a good excuse to replenish my fancy antique button stock  and I found some wonderful stuff.

antique buttons
cat buttonsCats! I love them so much I may never be able to use them.

I brought the whole group to the spectacular New York Showroom yesterday to be packed and sent on to Venice – these creatures have exciting lives.

  1. I just love ,love, love, your esthetics. My favorites are still the owls but I confess the little pirate bird is a close second. I really enjoy your posts.Thank you

  2. These are fabulous!!!! I just love them. How I would long to own one, but Fortuny is most extravagant. Such works of art!

  3. Love those fabrics – the owls are so cool! I rather like the rat…they’re not usually my favs but he’s so sophisticated in that wonderful fabric! What fun!

  4. juste simplement superbement poétique. Tes personnages sont tellement expressifs qu’on peut aisément leur imaginer une personalité, entrer dans leur vie. Ce que tu fais est plus que de l artisanat mais un art vivant. Bravo.

  5. Excellent blog! Do you have any tips and
hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping tto start my own site soion but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a
paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally
    overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Thanks!
