2023 workshops

 

zoom workshop: Inspired by seed pods like rose hips and poppies we will be making stitched organic sculptures. You will learn to sew a sphere and to modify a basic sphere pattern to create other 3 dimensional stitched shapes. I’ll also share my unique and top secret trick for creating a natural looking stem and root system. We’ll explore traditional and non traditional embellishing techniques and there will be lots of room to experiment and create a unique and poetic work of your own.
